Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the status of the results of several recruitment exams. The SSC has issued a notice on its official website which reads that which recruitment examinations results are delaying due to coronavirus epidemic and lockdown and which recruitment exam results have been released from 2019 till now. SSC has stated that the result of Junior Engineer Recruitment (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying and Contracts) Exam 2018 Paper-2 could not be declared on April 9, 2020 due to the Coronavirus epidemic. The new date of the result of the recruitment examination will be announced later.
SSC MTS and SSC CGL result will not come on the due date.
SSC has also said that the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS – Non-Technical) Exam 2019 paper-2 result on 30 April 2020 and SSC CGL Tier-III Result May 8, 2020, is proposed to come to but due to lack of work related to evaluation and results, results will not be declared on April 30 and May 5. The new date of the results of both these recruitment exams will be announced later.
A few days ago, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Monday that the examinations of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) which have been postponed due to the lockdown will be conducted after lockdown. He said that the new dates for the recruitment examinations will be decided after the lockdown ends on 3 May. On what will be the new dates of the examination, he said that the new dates will be decided in such a way that all the candidates can get sufficient time to reach their respective examination centers. This will be decided with sensitivity.
SSC has canceled the examinations for the lockdown period and new dates for these will be announced after May 3. The dates of all examinations, for which the candidates were required to travel to all parts of the country, will be reviewed from time to time.
The rescheduled dates of these examinations will be notified on the website of the Commission and its regional and sub-regional offices. So candidates are advised to visit the commission website regularly.
